Research and literature in History, Sociology and Science suggests that humans have taken the onus of passing on “knowledge” to each succeeding generations. Each generation experiences an increase in the amount of knowledge, progress in technology, and over time increased human interaction. The development in various fields of science, commerce and business couple with he advent and spread of the internet, implies that in the twenty-first century, we also have witnessed a rapid globalization of mankind, which has brought the different parts of the world much closer via new communication tools. In view of these changing circumstances, the content and process of education must be optimized for students to interpret past knowledge better to understand the present, and further help them foster thinking to face the unknown challenges of the future. At Little Angels, this lasting effort to be dynamic, relevant and progressive is designed to prolong the legacy of man and is a vital statistic.

The LAIS curriculum had been first created, before school inception in 2001 while targeting 2 years olds and later, over time has been continuously refined and made relevant to be a dynamic document. The curriculum also takes into account the geographical locale, the cultural context, social circumstances, and the requirement of the market (Japan) very carefully. In delivery, the LAIS curriculum regards the content, method of teaching or the relevance continuously and is refined to best suit the individual student.
